If you cannot see the Port labelled InControl click here: You can also test using another DAW, such as Reaper. If this is all working you likely have a setup issue in the DAW. Check that when you play the keys you get Data incoming. Select the Launchkey Ports in Input and Output.
If you are seeing the Launchkey connected properly in Device Manager and the Properties > Status says "Device is working properly" please check MIDI Ox to see that you can receive MIDI Notes from the unit. If you use a USB hub please make sure it is powered, and test a direct connection to the PC. The faders, knobs and buttons feel great but when I plug it into camera connection kit to iPhone, when I open up AUM and click MIDI control, it only shows transport functions, specifically rewind, toggle play and toggle record. Go to the m anufacturer's website and not the Update Driver section in Device Manager, as this only searches one location and often does not actually find the latest Manufacturer driver.

Look up the exact model you have and install all the USB Controller, BIOS, Chipset, Video Card, etc updates. If you still have a problem, go to the Manufacturer's website for your computer or motherboard. One port may work better than another due to the motherboard design. If yes, please try all the available USB ports on your computer.
Go to: Start > Control Panel > System > Device Manager > Sound Video and Game Controllers. Before you USB-plug the keyboard, hold the left scene button and the two triangle arrows next to it and keep them held.
